INFORMATION

Knowing that organising any occasion can be a very busy time, I want ordering one of my cakes to be as clear and as simple as possible. On this page, I've tried provide you with everything you'll need to know. For more specific information, read my  Terms and Conditions.

Ordering

Please submit your order to me giving notice prior to your wedding/event date:

  • For events: 2 weeks
  • For wedding cakes: 2 months


Please note, cancellations and changes can be accepted up until the point that I begin the process of sourcing ingredients for your cake(s). For more details see our Terms and Conditions.

Payment

Once your order has processed, you will receive a confirmation email from me and an invoice sent via PayPal.

Full payment should be made in advance of your wedding/event date as follows:

  • Events: 1 week
  • Wedding cakes: 1 month

* A 25% deposit for all orders is required upon receipt of invoice.

Delivery

I deliver free of charge Monday - Saturday within this delivery zone:

  • EH1 - EH9
  • EH10 - EH17 within the boundaries of the Edinburgh City Bypass

I am willing to deliver beyond this area for an additional charge of 50p per mile for each extra mile travelled.​​​

Wedding Cake Portion Guide

Use this portion guide to help you decide what size of cake you need. Fruit cakes are typically cut into finger portions and sponge cake will usually be cut into dessert portions (maybe even bigger depending on who's cutting the cake!)

Fresh Flowers

You can ask your florist to supply extra flowers for us decorate your cake with or I can source and add seasonal, edible or non-edible fresh flowers.*

* Flowers are depedent upon season and availability. Requests for us to add flowers to your cake must be done at the point of ordering. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee to satisfy your request.

Organic

I am pleased to say that I can make any of my cakes using over 95% organic ingredients.

Please note: I work in a kitchen that also uses non-organic ingredients. ​​

Allergens

Unless stated, all of my cakes are made using the following allergens: cereals, (gluten), eggs, milk.

Where stated, cakes contain other allergens such as nuts.

Do let me know about any allergens that I should be aware of when you place your order.

While I take every precaution to avoid cross-contamination, please note, all of my cakes are made in a kitchen where other allergens are stored and used.
